Helplink Counselling Service (FAQs)
Who is these counselling services for?
Within our main counselling service we provide appointments 7 days a week for persons aged 12 years and up who believe they may benefit from professional counselling; young people aged 12 to 18 must have the written permission of their caregivers by hand, email or post.
We also have two other therapy services that are aimed at younger people: our Play Therapy service is available for 3 to 10 year olds and our Art Therapy service is available for children and adults from the age of 6 upwards.
Our addiction counselling services are available for both adults and young people (aged 12 and upwards).
Whether people are dealing with depression, anxiety, phobias, addiction, stress, bullying (cyber or otherwise), or simply just need someone to talk things out with; Helplink counsellors are available.
We provide most of our counselling services online as well as face-to-face because it allows us to be more readily available to both urban and rural communities, the physically disabled community and/or those who may just find it hard to go into a traditional counselling office/clinic.
